Description

Give cocktails a Japanese twist with Takara Kyoto Uji matcha liqueur. Made with barrel aged shochu, it captures the earthy, slightly bitter flavour of matcha tea. 

Made with the youngest tea leaves, Uji matcha is regarded as the highest grade of matcha. The leaves are grown and processed in Kyoto, the birthplace of the Japanese tea ceremony. The finely ground green tea powder gives the liqueur its natural green colour.

This unique liqueur is a great gift for green tea drinkers. It showcases the exquisite taste and aroma of Uji matcha. Serve it neat or on the rocks as a digestif. It’s delicious on its own or paired with Japanese desserts like mochi or a matcha crepe cake.

Takara Uji matcha liqueur is a sophisticated tipple, crafted to perfection. Get your cocktail shaker out and whip up a creamy matcha martini. It’s the perfect way to kick off a Japanese-inspired dinner party.

About Takara

Takara is a leading producer of sake, shochu and mirin. Founded in 1842, their sake has won multiple awards at the Annual Japan Sake Awards. Takara’s range also includes liqueurs with flavours like matcha, yuzu and white peach. They are a unique addition to any home bar, adding a Japanese touch to cocktails.
