Description

Bake sweet and savoury pies in the Netherton Foundry pie dish. It’s hand spun so every dish is unique. Pies bake quickly and evenly, thanks to the heavy base and thick sides.

Made from 99.1% pure iron, this pie dish is built to last. It’s lighter than cast iron but with the same patina-building qualities. It becomes more non-stick over time, so pies release easily. The dish is pre-seasoned with flax oil so you can use it straight away.

Iron cookware is extremely durable and can be used at very high temperatures. It can be easily cleaned and restored at home.

Treat guests to a braised beef or creamy chicken pie. Topped with flaky pastry, it will be the star of the show at dinner parties. You can carry the dish to the table to serve guests family-style. The heavy duty dish is also perfect for sweet pies. They’re a great way to showcase seasonal fruit.

About Netherton Foundry

The Netherton Foundry is a family company based in Shropshire – home of the 18th and 19th century ironmasters. Their pans are made from 99.1% pure iron and they use locally sourced materials wherever possible – the oak that makes the pan handles is British, and the flax seasoning oil comes from Sussex. Experienced local craftsmen use traditional manufacturing methods to bring you high quality cookware that gets better over time.
