Mill & Mortar’s salt is harvested from salt ponds near Alicante, Spain. The flakes are then infused with local ingredients designed to complement savoury dishes. There are flavours to suit all kinds of recipes and preparations, from delicate sauces to spicy dry rubs.

The salt flakes gift set contains:

Black salt – Activated charcoal gives this salt its dark, dramatic colour. Sprinkle it over canapés and spaghetti carbonara. It adds saline tang and a touch of theatre to your dish.
Citrus salt – This salt is infused with lemon oil and lemon thyme. The bright, zesty flavour is wonderful with fish and seafood. Scatter the flakes over roasted monkfish or use it to season crispy squid.
Red wine salt – Spanish red wine gives this salt a rich colour and aroma. Use it to season roast beef, octopus and lamb chops.
