Use this Colombo curry powder to make a fragrant West Indian curry. As the name suggests, this spice blend has its roots in Sri Lanka. Made with organic ingredients, it’s your secret weapon for mouthwatering curries.

Colombo curry powder gets its yellow colour from earthy turmeric. Warming spices like cumin, ginger and mustard seeds add to its rich flavour and aroma. It has a mild heat level – ideal for spice novices.

Colombo curry is typically made with chicken. The spices turn the dish a beautiful shade of yellow. You can add potatoes or serve it with rice and flaky roti. The flavours work well with lamb and goat, too. For a plant-based curry, pair Colombo curry powder with sturdy vegetables like squash.
