Description

The karasuba-iro large rice bowl is just right for a serving of oyakodon – a traditional Japanese breakfast dish of chicken simmered in a sweet dashi stock with egg, served over rice. It’s also ideal for comforting bowls of soup.

“Karasuba-iro” means glossy black in Japanese, and this glazed ceramic rice bowl has a beautiful glossy black and grey speckled surface. Additional red-brown detailing and white sweeps add to the elegance of the design.

Please note that each piece is individually made, hence minor variations in colour and texture may occur from that shown in the photo.
