Description

Savour the flavour of Galantino Puglian extra virgin olive oil. Produced in southern Italy, the oil is presented in a glass bottle with vibrant orange stripes.

This EVOO is made with olives from one of Italy’s oldest olive growing regions. The Galantino family has used the same production methods for nearly a century. Their oil is renowned for its exceptional quality and superior taste.

The cold-pressed oil has a medium-fruity flavour with a hint of almond. On the nose, you can detect aromas of herbs and artichokes. Warming peppery notes give the oil a slightly spicy finish. You can use it as a finishing oil, as well as for cooking and frying.

Use the oil to sauté onions for Italian soups and sauces. It’s fantastic in marinades and tangy vinaigrettes for green salads. Try drizzling it over bresaola or a caprese salad.

The glass bottle not only looks great, it also protects the oil from heat and sunlight. This preserves its flavour and aroma over time.

About Galantino

Galantino is based in the town of Bisceglie, Puglia – the region that produces more olives than any other in the world. The medieval town is steeped in history, perched on the Adriatic coast and surrounded by ancient olive groves. Galantino’s oil is renowned for its quality and consistency, and holds protected status (PDO). The family olive mill has been pressing oil since 1926, and is run today by the third generation. All their olives are carefully selected and washed before being crushed on traditional stone mills.
