Description

Essential Cuisine’s Asian aromatic base is a fragrant instant stock mix, with flavours of lemongrass, coriander, ginger and star anise. The 1kg tub is ideal for professional use, and will make 25 litres of stock base. 

Use to flavour Malaysian, Japanese and Vietnamese broths and noodle soups. Or use to make a sharp fragrant marinade by combining the Asian aromatic base with honey and soy sauce – to glaze carrots and root vegetables before roasting.

With over 180 years of combined experience, the team at Cheshire-based Essential Cuisine is made up of 12 chefs. The focus is on creating stocks, sauces, broths and glaces that can be used in seconds, but taste as good as if a chef has made them from scratch. Research, creativity, innovation and passion go into making quality products which all come in 100% recyclable packaging.

Ingredients: Vegetable stock (water, onion, garlic, carrot, tomato, herbs and spice), flavourings, yeast extracts, hoi sin (sugar, red miso (soybeans, rice, salt, water, yeast), tamari soy sauce (water, soybeans, salt, alcohol), tomato puree, water, rice vinegar, star anise, liquorice, garlic puree, chilli powder), salt, sugar, ginger puree, dried glucose syrup, maltodextrin, ground spices (ginger, chilli, coriander, turmeric, black pepper), rapeseed oil.
